WOOLWICH EXPLOSION

It is feared that seven men are dead as the result of an. explosion at Woolwich Arsenal during the testing of big guns. The victims were members of the Military College of Science at Woolwich. OFFICIAL DEATH ROLL FIVE ACCIDENT OCCURS IN LOADING OF GUN. LONDON. May 18. (Received May 19, at 8 a.m.) The War Office announces that fiye men were killed and six injured in the Woolwich explosion, which occurred during the loading of a 3.7 in anti-aircraft gun. This is the second explosion in two days. Two men were killed and two injured yesterday.
