MAUNGANUI AGAIN IN PORT IDEAL CONDITICNS AT MILFORD MANY VISITORS TO DOMINION Three hundred and sixty passengers arrived at Bluff by the Alaunganui from Melbourne on Sunday. They enjoyed a splendid Tasman crossing, while Milford Sound was seen under ideal conditions. Eleven disembarked there to walk the track. There the snowcapped mountains formed a striking background to the bush-covered slopes. One man had been six times round the world, but he said he had never seen a finer sight. “If that is an example of the scenery of New Zealand, we arc in for a wonderful time,” he said. “ ft was worth coming a long way to see.” The Maunganui, which arrived here this morning, is berthed at the Victoria wharf. She will sail about 11 o’clock to-night for Lyttelton and Wellington. The passengers included :
