[From Our Balclutfia Correspondent.} CRICKET. In the game, Milton B v. Waiwera, played at Waiwera, the visitors won in a tivo-innings match. In the first; innings Waiwera made 47 (Anderson 15 not out). Bowling for Miltdn B, Wybrow took five wickets for 16 runs and A. Heads four for 22. Milton replied with 99 (Marshall 51, Woods 15, Heads and France 11). MTveiizie (five for 27) and L. Dunn (three for 24) divided bowling honours for Waiwera. In their second innings Waiwera made 120 (R. Nieol 80, L. Dnnn 21). Wybrow took four wickets for 39 runs, Heads three for 22 and Woods three for 33. Milton made 73 for the loss of eight wickets (Woods 16, Smith 14). Crawford (three for, 40) and Dunn three for 28) took the wickets. TENNIS. The result was a win for the challengers by 19 points to 9. RAILWAY CRICKET CLUB. The Balclutha Cricket Club members held a very enjoyable smoke social on Saturday night, the president (Air W. Sloan) presiding over a good attendance, including representatives of the various unofficial clubs. _ Several toasts were honoured and mention made or the coming departure of the Public Works employees. who are being ferred to Waipafii. Speakers said the members of the P.W. team had proved 'rood snorts, and had done_ much to k°cp interest going in unofficial cricket.
