“ ABERDEEN WHISKY " (Independent Cable Service.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright GLASGOW, December 16. During the trial of a firm charged with falsely applying the description “ Scotch Whisky ” to a blend of Irish and Scottish whiskies, an expert stated that the Japanese were endeavouring to copy Scotch distilling. They even named a Japanese town “ Aberdeen ” so that they could call the produce “• Aberdeen Whisky.”
