Wilson, Dominion conference president of the Churches of Christ, returned yesterday after a fiveweeks’ tour of the Nelson, Wairqea, and West Coast districts. A New Zealand member of the expedition made to Antarctica bv RearAdmiral R. E. Byrd in 1933-35, Mr H. R. Young, was presented with the Congressional medal by Mr J. G Groeninger, United States Consul in Auckland, at the Consulate yesterday. Mr Groeniuger congratulated Mr Young, who’ is a farmer near Auckland, on. receiving the medal. The award has also been , made to Mr B.
