NEW CAPTAIN ARRIVES LAST JOB THE SPANISH COAST BLOCKADE [Pee United Peess Association.] AUCKLAND, October 20. The passengers by the Rangitiki from London included Captain H. M. Barnes, to replace Commander Tinley, the officer in charge of the Devonport Naval Base. He is accompanied by his wife, daughter, and young son. Captain Barnes has recently been attached to the Atlantic Fleet, and as commander of a destroyer last year was engaged in the non-intervention blockade of the Spanish coast. During the war he served at Gallipoli and ( Zeebrugge. •
