OTAGO BOYS' CRICKET ASSOCIATION
At the meeting of the committee of the Otago Boys’ Cricket Association the chairman (Mr J. H. A. M‘Phee) welcomed Mr Douglas, the new dele-, gate from the Dunedin Cricket Club, and congratulated Mr J. A. Dunning on his appointment as head master of the Scots College in Queensland. It was decided that the junior competition commence on November 5, the Match Committee to arrange when the senior competition will begin. The secretary intimated that the annual fixture with the Canterbury Boys’ Cricket Association would be played in Dunedin this year. The Otago Boys’ Cricket Association senior team at present holds the Biltcliff Cup, while the Canterbury Boys’ Cricket Association junior team is in possession of the Rix Cup.—The secretary was instructed to write suggesting that the match dates be December 20 and 21. The selectors (Messrs MThee, Lawson. and the secretary) were given anthority to make the necessary arrangements for representative fixtures.
