LIFE SAVING

PERMANENT RECORD OF ALL AWARDS, [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, October 18. The National Council of the_ Royal Life Saving Society decided to-night to circularise all branches with a notice of motion that a permanent record of the awards granted in the Dominion should be kept by the council. Notice of motion was also given that, for the purpose of establishing a greater degree of uniformity in examination conditions, a register of all honorary examiners be maintained by the council. This, it is hold, will enable the council to circularise the examiners immediately advice relative to the examinations is received from London.
