NO JUSTIFICATION FOR .SCARE STORIES SITUATION NOT VISIBLY CHANCED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 5. The ‘ Daily Telegraph’s ’ Berlin correspondent says: “ Nothing occurred during the week-end to change the situation visibly. There is no justification for the scare stories with regard to the movements of German< troops, regarding which it is essential to remember that it is part of the German plan to allow them to be seen. Further batches of reservists are being called up in the next 10 days, and until after the Nuremberg conference there will be 1,500,000 under arms. “ JUST MANCEUVRES ’’ BERLIN, September 5. (Received September 6, at 11.5 a.m.) “ Just manoeuvres ” is the laconic explanation of the frontier movements. It is declared ridiculous to talk of antiFrench concentrations, BELGIUM NOT ALARMED BRUSSELS, September 5. (Received September 6, at 11.10 a.m.) Military movements are unlikely. The Government does not consider special measures necessary.
