CARE OF THE BLIND
ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTED (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, August 5. (Received August 6, at 11 a.m.) The Minister of Health has appointed an Advisory Committee on blindness, including its prevention and treatment. The committee, which has been appointed for a term of three years, will carry on the work hitherto performed by the Standing Committee on the Prevention of Blindness of the Union of Countries’ Association for the Blind, which has ceased to exist.
