The ‘ Daily Telegraph’s ’ Pan's correspondent says the biggest Union Jack manufactured will be hoisted on the Eiffel Tower as 101 gun shots are fired in honour of their Majesties. The flag has a surface of 1.500 square yards, and weighs 6001 b. Thirteen men and three capstans will be required to hoist it.
