Richard Joseph Sextan (Kaipaki, Auckland), £9 6s 2d, goods supplied; Elders’ Pharmacy v. Richard Ball, 12s 3d, goods supplied; James Dunlop and Co. v. Adams Hardware Ltd. (Blenheim), £ll 18s lOd, goods supplied. CLAIM FOR RENT. An action involving the rent of a house and alleged damage to it was brought by George Henry Claridge (Mr R. C. Rutherford) against Christopher Claude O’Hara (Mr E. J. Anderson) in respect of premises at the corner of Forbury Crescent and Main Avenue, St. Kilda. The plaintiff claimed £23 7s lOd, made up of £l6 8s 7d as rent and £6 19s 3d as damages for the breaking of nine panes of glass. Evidence was given by Robert M'Kinnon, a solicitor, who collected the rent on behalf of the plaintiff from the defendant; by John George Robertson, a plasterer, who saw three broken windows after O’Hara had vacated the premises; by the plaintiff, Who said he bought the house for £1,050 and. sold it for £1,200; and by the defendant. The case was proceeding this afternoon.
