NEW CATEGORY OF SUFFERERS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 20. (Received June 21, at 12.55 p.m.) Pointing out that the evolution of modern methods of warfare had created ■ a new category of war sufferers, the Duke of Gloucester, in opening the International Red Cross conference at St. James’s Palace, asked the conference to consider whether they could not usefully make their voices heard on behalt of women and children and defenceless persons.
