GREEN ISLAND CLUB The above club (professional) held its weekly race from' Green Island to Ocean View and return, doing the course twice. Twenty riders faced the starter. A. Watt, G. Watt, and Stewart were the first to go, followed by Knarston, O’Neill, and J. Marsh, then E. Brown and C. Ralston, to be followed by D. O’Brien, next W. Haig, D. Ralston, the rest following at about half-min-ute intervals. The first to turn at Ocean View was R. Stewart, next A. Watt, then G. Watt, then J. Marsh and W. O’Neill and 0. Ralston,and Brown next, then Haig, O’Brien and D. Ralston, next Shand and J. E. M'Cartney, then followed at one-minute intervals were R. Wilson Pvne and J. Woodford, L. Bell, then A. Woodford. Returning at Sharp’s Hotel there was very little change. A. Watt kept going well and- won by one minute from R. Stewart, C. Ralston filling the third position. L. Bell rode verv well to get fastest time. Results; A. Watt 1, R. Stewart 2, C. Ralston I? Fastest time: L. Bell. Ihr 3mm osec. Second fastest time. J. E. M'Cartney, Ihr 4min 5 2-ssec.
