Every elfort is being made to have shooting started in good time each night, and with this end in view a trophy has been donated for competition by those who are on the range not later than 7.15. It is hoped that this will assist in the desired object. Last week the handicap badge was won by D. G. Wyllie Three possibles were recorded off the rifle, J. Armstrong. J A Cowio, and D. G. Wyllie being successful.

At the railway range attendances continue fairly consistent, and some good scores, particularly by first-year members, have been recorded. The table tennis has become very popular, and the tables are constantly in use. It is expected that a wireless set will be the next acquisition to the club room. The first sweepstake was won by E. Arthur Barnett’s Club fired the first round of its Devlin Cup matches. This trophy is presented to the competitor with the highest score in three handicap matches of 10 shots each.
