CIVIC FAREWELL DOMINION POSSESSES MODERN VESSELS [Per United Press Association.! AUCKLAND, June 3. A civic farewell was accorded Rear* Admiral the Hon. E. R. Drummond af the Town Hall to-day. Replying to the speeches, Rear-Ad* miral Drummond made a brief review of naval activities during his period of office. The New Zealand Division, ha said, now possessed modern cruisers and escort vessels equal to the best_ in the Navv, the naval base was nearing the end "of it's reconstruction, and. although small, would have a well-equipped dock equaj to all emergencies.
