HIGHEST RECORD FOR CHARTER [Peb United Press Assochtios.J WELLINGTON. June 3. The Minister of Marketing (Hon. W< Nash) announced to-day that the quantities of New Zealand beef to arrive in the United Kingdom for the third quarter of this year were the highest on record for that quarter. The Government had kept .in close, touch with the Dominion’s representative in London, who had secured, after negotiation, the right to land in the July-September quarter of 1938 maximum amounts ot beef as follows . Chilled, 7,200 tons; frozen quarters, 5,600 tons; boneless, 6.200' tons; veal. 1 400 tons; beef and veal offals, 81W tons; total, 21,200 tons. . Not only the total, but also the individual amounts, especially of called beef, were very satisfactory, concluded Mr Nash.
