In the House of Commons the Dominions Secretary, -Mr Malcolm MacDonald, said in reply to a question, there was certainly no doubt concerning the substantial economic progress made in Newfoundland under the commission Government. Hd added that the process of, recovery must necessarily be gradual and in the circumstance there was no present prospect of restoration of the previous form of constitution.
