DENSE FOG IN KING COUNTRY' PRODUCE MISSES MARKETS TPee United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 12. Delayed by dense fog in the King Country and Waikato last night, several trains were late in arriving at Auckland this morning. A long goods train, which was five and a-half hours late, had a consignment of produce which failed to catch to-day’s Auckland markets.
.“The fog in the King Country was the worst this year,” said the guard on one long-distance train, adding that shunting was most difficult.
