HARROW ESCAPE FROM BLAZING FLAT [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 12. Escaping in her nightdress from a blazing flat at 1 o’clock this' morning, Mrs H. Grau added another episode to her tale of misfortune. She was seriously injured in the Napier earthquake, being an invalid for two years, and was injured again on Saturday in a fall on a wet floor. She, her daughter, and a .young visitor, No!a Carter, were awakened this morning in Hill Crest Flats, Mount Eden, by the crackling of fire in the kitchen. They were unable to save any belongings in their rush to escape. The flat was gutted, and damage was done also to the flat above, but the brigade made a good save of tho rest of the big building.
