THREE NEW MEMBERS DR NEWLANDS TOPS POLL Three new members are among the seven elected to the Otago Hospital Board. They are Mrs M'Millan and Mr R. Walls (Labour) and Mr W. H. M'Leod (Citizens). Two members of the old board. Messrs F. W. Venn and M. Silverstone, were defeated. The voting was led by Dr William Newlands (Citizens), with Mrs Norah Ross next. Mr J. W. Dove, chairman of the board, was returned for St. Kilda and Green Island Boroughs and Peninsula County, and Mr Henry S. Sheat won a close contest for the combined districts of Waihemo and Waikouaiti and boroughs of Palmerston, Port Chalmers, and Waikouaiti.
