SAVING BABY FROM DEATH Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright CHICAGO, May 10. 7 Ten medical specialists and two rabbis unanimously came to the decision to have the eyes removed of 10-wee'ks-old Helaine Colan, who is suffering from glioma, the malignant progress 'of which was dooming her to death. The only alternative was the removal of her eyes. Her parents decided to abide by the decision of a distinguished jury. (_ An hour after the verdict a noted eye specialist removed the left eye, the tissue of which will be examined microscopically to determine whether X-ray treatment will benefit the right eye or whether it should be removed.
