POSITION OF AIRCRAFT FIRMS INFORMATION FROM MEMBER OF COMMONS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 10. (Received May 11, at 2 p.m. A member of the House of Commons, Mr D. Sandys, has sent a letter to Earl Winterton giving the names of aircraft firms which are discharging employees owing to shortage of work, with extracts of letters from the firms, for instance: “ Since the beginning of the year we had to discharge 500 and are discharging 50 more within a fortnight,” and “ Our firm has'fallen from an output of 300 propellers weekly to below 20.”
