ESPIONAGE TRIAL
HEAVY SENTENCES IMPOSED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright METZ, February 25. (Received February 26, at 10.30 a.m.) An important spy trial has been concluded, of which uo details are given, except the names and sentences. Baron Rudolph von Puchen, aged 63, a former colonel in the Austrian army, and Theodore Albrecht, 65, were each sentenced to 15 years imprisonment; Di Walter Hartmann, 38, a correspondent of a Viennese newspaper in Paris, received 12 years j Henri Nolte, 27, a former sergeant in the Foreign Legion, five years; Hans Lorentz, allegedly head of a spying organisation (in his absence), 20 years.
