NATIONAL ASSOCIATION'S MEETING [P*H UnTED Pums Amooatiox.] WELLINGTON, February 25. . The annual meeting of the National Rifle Assocaition opened at Trenthamj to-day. Although the morning wa* fine, threatening weather condition* prevailed. Before leaving the squadding post* for the firing points, the were welcomed by Colonel F. B. Cresj well, who is deputising at the meeting for the president, Dr A. F. R. CrawJ ford (Invercargill). He extended aj special welcome to the members of th«| South African team. Shooting commenced with the opening match, 10 rounds at 300, 500, and 6CK| yards.
