SEQUEL TO FRACAS
LABOURER SENT FOR TRIAL j [Psb Umrsp Press Assocu.tiok.J CHRISTCHURCH, February 25.Appearing in j the Magistrate’s Court this morning, William George Boyd, labourer, aged 54, with no fixed abode* pleaded not guilty to a charge, that onj January 19, with intent to do grievous bodily harm, he wounded Thomas Hawtin. Boyd was committed to tha Supreme Court for trial. Bail of £3OQj and two sureties of £3OO each was lowed, a condition being that Boyd reJ port dajly to the police. Hawtin was seriously wounded in tint throat when he was involved in aj fracas. _____
