Invercargill, Eiver< ton, Orepuki, Haffmoon Bay:— A deep and extensive depression ex-i tends from Eastern Australia to South-* ern New Zealand. Pressure hangs very; low over the South Tasman Sea. Fore, cast: Moderate to strong northerly trt westerly winds, reaching gale force in places, and backing at times to southwest. Weather unsettled and squally* with occasional rain, more especially, in coastal areas. Temperature warm* Seas rough in Foveaux Strait; elsewhere slight to moderate. CHANGEABLE THOUGH WARM.
