IHTER-HfIUSE COMPETITIONS The entries in all events for the. seventy-sixth annual games to be held on the Caledonian Ground on Saturday are so large that the directors have decided to commence with the primary schools’ programme at 10.30, and these will be immediately followed by the secondary schools’ events. The entries for the interhouse and combined events total 13, and as the minimum number in each team is eight, there will be well over' 100 in the march past, which will be commenced at 2. The Hope Challenge Cup will be awarded to the team in the women’s section gaining the highest aggregate of points. In addition, the Henderson Challenge Cup will go to the winning team in the march past, and the Henderson Memorial Challenge Cup to the winners of the women’s relay race. The Carlton Challenge Cup will bo retained by the men’s team gaining most points in the men’s section. Firms having entries in both sections will compete for the J. D. T. Pearson Challenge Cup. The Dunedin Highland and M’Glashan Pipe Bands will give a drummajors' display at 3 o’clock. Large entries have been received for the Highland dancing events, and two champions (Miss Hazel Neill, of Christchurch. and Miss (Robertson, of Oamarn) will be among the competitors. In addition to the full five-hour programme, there will be numerous sideshows. Further particulars are advertised.
