(Received February 11, at 8 a.m.) Twenty tons of German wartime gas shells were removed from an underground dump at Adinfert, eight miles from Arras. A subsidence of the earth revealed a long gallery ending in a large chamber. Workmen who were exploring were almost overcome by stagnant gas. ,
