MARSDEN SEAT

MR MURDOCH THE NATIONAL CANDIDATE [Per United Press Association.] WHANGAREI, February 10. Mr A. J. Murdoch was selected today to contest the Marsden seat in the interests of the National Party at the forthcoming Genera! Election. The other nominee was Mr P. R. Gardner. Approximately 300 delegates from all parts of the electorate attended the conference at Waipu. This is the largest gathering of the kind ever held in the electorate.
