TAXI DRIVER CHARGED ALLEGATIONS OF NEGLIGENCE [Per United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, February .9. Arising from an accident at Waikiwi on January 27, when a. cyclist, William Connors, was struck by a car and 1 killed, lan Campbell Ronald, a taxi driver, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court to-day with_ driving negligently and thereby causing the death of Connors. Ronald pleaded not guilty, and was committed' to the Supreme Court for trial.
