FIXATION FOR DOMINION EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT EXPECTED [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND; February 9. An announcement that it was the intention to fix the price for petrol throughout the whole Dominion in due course was made by the Hon. W. Lee Martin in a letter, written on behalf of the Minister of Industries and Commerce (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan), and received l at a meeting of the Automobile Association (Auckland). In introducing the regulations fixing the price of motor spirit in the various areas, very careful and extensive investigation was carried out, the Minister Stated. At the present time the investigations had almost been completed in the remaining districts to be covered by the regulations. The Minister gave an assurance that everything possible would be done to introduce the new regulations at an early date.
