DIONNE QUINTUPLETS
A RESPECTABLE FORTUNE DR DAFOE INTERVIEWED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, November 18. Dr Dafoe, in an interview, said the Dionne quintuplets’ estate at present was 500,000d01. Their expenses average more than 400dol a week, including the salaries of‘a teacher, two nurses, three guards, one housekeeper,, and two maids. Dr Dafoe receives 200dol a month and their parents lOOdol. The doctor said that two or three years hence, when the quintuplets are ready for school, it will probably be necessary to build a private schoolhouse and import selected pupils from the village to provide social contact. They are now studying English in addition to Freneh. Dr Dafoe described Yvonne as a sophisticated lady of the world type, Emilie gamin, and Mario affectionate as the clinging vine, and Cecile and Annette easy-going. The parents and six brothers and sisters will spend Christmas with the quintuplets, sharing their presents.
