WORLD WOOL SUPPLY
FORECAST FOR NEXT YEAR EXPECTED TO EXCEED THAT OF 1937 Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, November 11. The Washington correspondent of the ‘ New York Times ’ says the Bureau of, Agricultural Economics forecasts that the world wool supply in 1938 will slightly exceed that of 1937, but will be below the average for five years. The bureau thinks that mill consumption in the United States and also in some foreign countries will bo probably below that of 1937, owing to a considerable accumulation of manufactured woollens in consequence of a large domestic mill consumption since 1935.
