Wilson being With the 17 senator*, who did not ra. tire, the Government will have a follow# ing of 20 in the new Senate. On completion of the count the New South Wales fourth Labour candidate, Mr W. Ashley, was elected. Labour also won the two remaining vacancies in Western Australia, Messrs J. Prases and R. Clothier being elected. Sena, tors Pearce and Lynch (President, ol the Senate) were defeated.
