ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
HEART FAILURE UNDER ANESTHETIC, Mary Susan Bolton, aged 75, of Pahiatua, died under an anaesthetic in a private hospital in Masterton. The verdict at the inquest was that th« cause of death was heart failure while undergoing an operation for an inter* nal complaint, no blame being attach! able to the medical men concerned. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR, As a result of being knocked down by a motor car at the corner of Georgal and Hanover streets last evening, John Laiug, who resides at 3 Regent road, was admitted to the Hospital at 7.43 p.m., suffering from concussion. *
