REVISED SCALE OF WAGES [Per United Pbess Association.! WELLINGTON, November 11. A revised scale of minimum rates of wages payable to agricultural workers on dairy farms, to operate as from November 1 until July 31, 1938, is issued by Order-in-Oounc.il with tonight’s ‘ Gazette.’ The 1937 Agricultural Workers’ Wage Fixation Order is in accordance with the provisions made in the Agricultural Workers’ Act passed last year, whereby the scale of wages may be varied, having regard to the guaranteed price for dairy produce. The new weekly rates are:—Workers under 17, l&s 6d; 17 but under 18. £1 4s; under 19. £1 9s; under 20, £1 14s 6d; under 21, £1 19s 6d; 21 and upward. £2 ss.
