“A BENCH GHETTO”
SEPARATING JEWS AND AYRANS ' I NEW SYSTEM AT WARSAW UNIVERSITY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright WARSAW, October 6. As an indication of the present tendencies of the regime the authorities of the Warsaw Polytechnic have established “ a bench ghetto,” a system unknown even in _ Germany, whereby Jews and Aryans will be separated in the lecture rooms. Benches will be marked exclusively for each. To-morrow Warsaw University will have seats numbered, in which the students will sit according to identity cards. The numbers for Aryans will all be even, occupying half the room, while the Jews will have all odd numbers and occupy the remainder. No doubt other schools in Poland will act likewise. Possibly the system will be adopted in omnibuses,- trains, and theatres.
