VISIT TO BALMORAL STIRRING WELCOME AT ABERDEEN (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, August 4. The King and Queen received a stirring welcome on their arrival at Aberdeen. They drove through decorated streets thronged with thousands of spectators, and travelled through gaily decorated towns and villages to Balmoral. Their Majesties will visit Lancashire next May. SIX WEEKS' REST (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 5. (Received August C, at 1 p.m.) After mouths of Coronation and other public ceremonial the King and Queen, who are now at Balmoral, have ahead of them six weeks’ rest and relaxation in the Scottish scenes they both love so well. At Aberdeen yesterday the King and Queen asked the Lord Provost about the progress of the new infirmary which the Queen, as the Duchess of York, opened last September, and expressed pleasure that Aberdeen had since then raised the £IOO,OOO required to free the institution from debt.
