Harry John Knapp, a labourer, of Shannon, was fined £ls and was prohibited from driving: for 12 months in what was dc~cribed as a borderline case of intoxication in charge of a motor truck to-day. Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., said he had already given a warning, and the public had better take heed of it, that until such cases stopped he intended, even with first offenders, to impose a term of imprisonment without the option of a fine.
