■ WINNER OF THE £2,000 FRIGHT FOR SECOND PRIZE-WINNER TICKET WENT A-MISSIKG [Per United Press Association.] CHIMST.CHURCH, June 29. “ Gunner,” Christchurch, winner of £2,000 in the art union, still shelters under his nom do plume, and no ‘/aim was put in to-day for the prize n/oney. The winning ticket, No. 139,24/, was bought two days before the ai/ union closed. The second prize went to Mrs C. Peoples, of the Bellvne Private Hotel, who nearly saw tho £SOO slip through her fingers when she could not find tho ticket. She had bought five, and the only one with anything was the one missing this morning. However, the missing ticket has turned up.
