SOUTHLAND PREPARING
LARGE CROWD FOR SHIELD MATCH [Pbb United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, June 28. A large crowd of Southland Rugby supporters, accompanied by 10 High- r land pipe bands and two other bands, will visit Dunedin for the Ranfurly Shield match against Otago oh July 31. The problem of securing accommodation for those who intend to stej the night in Dunedin is causing some concern, as it is reported here that many of the hotels are booked up already. E. R. Chesterman, a forward, has been nominated for the South Island team.
