WRESTLING

M'CREADY V. KIRILENKO The contest arranged by the Otago Wrestling Association between Bari M'Cready, champion of the British Empire, and Matros Kirilenko, the Cossack, who was formerly Graeco-Roman champion of Europe, should prove one of the greatest matches ever staged in the Dominion. M'Cready needs no introduction to Dunedin audiences, and the Cossack has previously demonstrated his ability in the local ring. M'Cready’s match with Glen Wade, two years ago, was voted one of the best matches held in Dunedin, but in the Cossack M'Cready is meeting a stronger and faster opponent than Wade, and one who in addition to being his equal in so far as orthodox and scientific wrestling is concerned, has an added advantage in a ruggedness and determination in attack. M'Cready has met some good opposition in his 103 bouts in New _ Zealand, but Kirilenko should prove his toughest opponent. He is very powerful and a swift, smooth mover. Further particulars are advertised.
