STUDENTS' ORCHESTRAL CLUB

The eighth recital to he given hy the Students’ Orchestral Club will be presented in Begg’s Concert Chamber on Thursday next. The orchestra will present a varied and interesting programme, which includes the following numbers:—The overture ‘Masaniello,’ ‘ The Gondoliers Selection,’ ‘ Symphony in E Flat ’ (Mozart), ‘ The Court of Pharaoh’ (Haydn Wood), ‘ Ciriberibin Waltz ’ (Pestalozza), ‘ The Great Little Army March ’ (Alfred). The vocalists for the evening are Miss Bena lloche and Dunedin’s most popular baritone, Mr John Pringle. Tne violinist. Miss Dorothy Stuart, will play ‘ Thais ’ (Massauet), with orchestra, and ‘ Danse Espagnola.’-
