Press Association— By Telegraph Copyright "SYDNEY, May 2. The American, George Simpson, was disqualified in the eighth round of a bout with the Australian middle-weight champion, Ron Richards. The latter was knocked down 11 times, and, according to one critic, “ not once from the effects of a fair punch.”
