COMMEMORATION OF 218 T ANNIVERSARY The citizens of Otago are invited ie attend a function which will be held in the Town Hall on Wednesday next* April 28, when, to mark the twenty* first anniversary of the N.Z.R.S.A.j opportunity will 'be taken to present to the. mayor a tangible expression; of appreciation for the assistance given the R.S. A. 'by the citizens from time to time. F The Dunedin Returned Soldiers' Choir, under the baton of Mr John T. Leech, will render two items, , ‘ Th* Deathless Army ’ (soloist, Mr R. Duerdon) and ‘ Crossing the Plain,’ and will be assisted by Mrs N. Hall-Mas* tors, soprano, who will sing ‘ Se» Wrack.’ Dr V. E. Galway .has also consented to play, and his items will be ‘ A Spring Song,’ by Hollins, and ‘March.’ by Rebikov. In addition, there will be a solo by Mr R. Duerdon, ‘The Romany King.’. Miss Sybil Baker is the accompanist. . The Trumpet and Bugle Band, under! the conductor-ship of Lieutenant J. L* Napier, will play ‘ Reveille.’ Tlje Dun* edin Highland Pipe Band has con* sented to pipe in the twenty-first an-* uiversary rake. There will be no charge for admis* sion.
