SCHEME WON'T SET ASIDE F.S. ORGANISATION / [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 26. Any steps taken in the direction of' a national health insurance scheme would he taken with a full recognition of toe work and the value of th» friendly societies in the Dominion, said the Acting Prime Minister (Hon, P.- ■ Fraser) when addressing the conference of the Manchester; Unity 1.0.0,F„ which opened to-day. Mr Fraser said he could not imagine any such scheme that could be set aside the friendly societies or be carried into successful operation without their! assistance. The district grand master (Mr J. L.Stewart), in an address, said there wa< every reason to believe that the friendly society organisation would be made use of upon the inauguration of the scheme, in New Zealand.
