YEOMANRY CAVALRY
NEW GUIDON CONSECRATED AND PRESENTED [Pee United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, April 11. A crowd of about 10,000 gathered at Hagley Park yesterday afternoon to see the largest military parade in Christchurch for many years for the consecration and presentation of the new guidon given by Sir R. Heaton Rhodes to the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry Regiment. The GovernorGeneral (Viscount Galway) presented the new guidon, and Archbishop Julius conducted the consecration service. The ceremony was an impressive one.
