THE PAPAL MISSION PROTEST TO MR BALDWIN Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON. April 9, The Protestant Truth Society has protested to the Prime Minister against the reception of an official Papal Coronation mission, stating that the Bill of Rights lay.; down in most express terms that' the Crown shall hold no communion with the See or Church of Rome. The society asks for an assurance that the mission shall not receive either a naval or military salute.
WESTMINSTER ABBEY CATERING FOR VISITORS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 9. It is announced that as vast numhers of people from many parts of the world, who will assemble in London far the Coronation, will desire to see Westminster Abbey in all its splendiur and its Coronation panoply, the public will, by an arrangement come to by the dean and chapter and officer of works, be admitted on week days from May 15 to June 5 inclusive, with certain exceptions. It is estimated that the number of visitors to London from the dominions, the colonies, and foreign countries for the Coronation will exceed 227,000. Of this total it is expected that about 100,000 will come from European countries and 22,000 from the United States. Visitors from various parts of the Empire will probably number aver I^ooo.,
