DEADLOCK SETTLED
ATLANTIC AIR SERVICE TEST FLIGHTS TO SE MADE Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, April 8. The Bureau of Air Commerce announced that the transatlantic air line deadlock had been settled, the last diplomatic obstacle having been removed. The terms of the agreement are withheld temporarily. Mail bids will be considered and test flight made. [A previous message read as follows: —“ British and American negotiations for reciprocal aviation services in connection with the proposed transatlantic operation of the Pan-American and Imperial Airways lines have reached a deadlock, due to a dispute between Canadian and American officials whether Montreal or New York is to he the terminal. American officials said they were hopeful of a satisfactory compromise.”]
